Thanksgiving Menu
Oh yes, I am this fancy…………….NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
Today I am cooking and baking to get things ready for Saturday when I have Thanksgiving dinner here with my family.
Big Ran is working on siding the new house.
We are going to gather with my dad’s family later this afternoon, which has its good side and its bad side.
I love to see family and be with them because they are a part of me, but I sure do miss my dad!
I guess I always will.
Then Big Ran and I are going to hunker down for the evening.

Happy Thanksgiving
Today I am cooking for the Thanksgiving dinner that I have at my house on Saturday.
So far the cranberry sauce is cooling and I am starting on the cornbread dressing.
I found a couple of pictures of Thanksgiving past to share with you.
This is from left to right, Kamille, my brother Kevin’s friend, Kevin, Dad, and Kayli.
The kiddy table.
From left to right – Madison, Nic, and Mom.
This was the Thanksgiving that Big Ran was in Afghanistan. We are still very thankful that he is back with us today.
Well, back to work!
We all miss you Dad.

Let’s Catch Up Again!!
So, we lost our football game in the playoffs. I have some more great pictures of Nic, and of some of the great family and friends, that went to some of the games to help support him, to show you hopefully tomorrow.
I have been planning my Thanksgiving meal, still. Besides having the turkey, dressing, gravy, and mashed potatoes, here is a list of the rest of the goodies I am planning on making.
This is a cheese ball that I am going to attempt this year.
I just can’t resist!! I have to try!
I always make cranberry sauce, although I think mom and I are the only ones who eat it. But it’s easy and cheap!
I usually make a layered jello salad to go in my clear glass bowl, but this year I am going to make a banana pudding trifle.
Madison wants me to make plain salad. This means lettuce and cucumbers with some croutons. So I think I will try this salad and let her pick off what she doesn’t want.
