I Am Blessed
The knee surgery went very well, thank God.
I go back to the doctor in 2 weeks.
My sweet husband and devoted mom were there with me.
I also received
lots of well wishes from friends and family via texts, phone calls, and Facebook messages, which I greatly appreciate.
When we got home my besties, Connie, Marilyn, and Lora, came over and brought a whole meal for my family.
It was fabulous.
Here’s a picture of our last adventure together.
There are tall ships, there are small ships, there are pretty ships, and there are ugly ships, but the best ship of all is FRIENDSHIP!

Happy Memorial Day
As long as I can remember on Memorial Day Mom and I went with Grandma and put flowers on many graves.
Grandma has alzheimer’s now and I am just realizing how very thoughtful that was of her, not to just do it, but to take Mom and I with her every year.
Last night Big Ran and I put flowers on Dad’s grave, it looks very nice.
Mom had already put a flower decorated lawnmower on it.
But next year, I am going to go with Mom and take one, two, or all of my kids with us, and start a new tradition.
With all of that said, I would like to thank all the serving military and their families for their service and of course, today to remember all of those who served our country and are no longer with us and their families.
I hope everyone is flying their American flag high and proud today!!
God Bless America!!

Catching Up
It’s been a little crazy around here…..
Last week Big Ran was in the hospital for a couple of days from a magnesium shortage.
Over the weekend Nic had the experience of a lifetime with his football team beating their rival for the first time in 8 years!!
And my dad’s brother, Larry lost his long battle with cancer. It’s so hard to see your cousins hurt that much. We only lived a half a block a part growing up. Larry had been saved. He and Dad are probably doing a little catching up.
I have also been planning the menu for Thanksgiving.
Turkey
Dressing
Mashed Potatoes
I hope to get the recipes to you soon.
Hold on tight to your families!!!
