Final Surgery=All Is Well

On Thursday I had my last surgery in our plan of wellness.

They put back what the took away.

My husband, Big Ran, (as he likes to be called), Large, (what I prefer to call him), has been my rock.

Last night he gave me this beautiful necklace with our names and birthstones on it.

I love it!!

I had better wrap this post up so I can get on with my recovery!

I am doing very well.

I’ve always been very favored in the eyes of the Lord, just sayin’.

Those if you who know me, know that is a fact!

Winston Redbirds #1 or # 2 In The State?

We have seen some very exciting games in the last few days as the Winston Redbird Boys team has been at the state final four tournament.

Although we have had some very, very good boys basketball teams from Winston, they have never been this far before.

This will be the last high school basketball game for seniors Chevy Calhoon and CJ Uthe.

Go get ’em!

The sign committee is doing a great job!!

So happy for this team!

As I mentioned before, this is the first time the boys team has made it to the final four, but Winston had been there before………..32 years ago, the 1983 girls team, and yes, I was on that team!

The only senior on the team, along with juniors – Pam (Pedro) Moore, Jenny and Beth Lin, and Jane Taylor, sophomores – Jodie Lin, Tina Hutton, Shari Wright, and Kathy Perry.

Best time of my life!

Enjoy it boys!

Here are what my branches turned out like…..

Aren’t they gorgeous?!

My daughter plays basketball and the team that she played for this season was a fighting team!

They had their ups and downs, but all in all it was a great season.

Here are a couple of pictures of the season.

December Birthday Time!

Yes I am definitely behind!!!!

We had a surprise party for my daughters Kayli and  Kamille, and my Aunt Marilyn.

Kayli and Kamille turned 30 and Marilyn turned 60.

So we did a 30 + 30 =60 theme.

There was good food and even some karaoke!

It was a lot of fun.

I found this picture of the birthday kids the other day and had to share!!

The twins and my dad a few years ago.

I have a lot more to tell you about.

We’ll talk soon!

New Years Eve

Today is New Years Eve!

What a year!

I have learned with life it’s give and take.

Sometimes it’s more give than take.

Sometimes it’s more take than give.

We are promised nothing, but our salvation.

Think about that!

Our salvation is everything!

I know that there are more profound people than me out there, so I will just put it to you in my own words.

You can not get through life without letting others in!

Let them love you.

It’s  good for other people and it’s great for you!!!

I have never felt so loved as I have this year!

Here are a few pictures of some of the people that I love.
