I just arrived home from the doctor’s office for my follow-up visit after surgery.
The decision of a lumpectomy or a mastectomy was an easy one to make.
The cancerous tumor had already grown from a stage 1 cancer to a stage 2 cancer in the 2 weeks that we have done all the testing on it.
So, I had a mastectomy last Friday.
The outpouring of love and support has been so overwhelming.
My post office friends, where I work, sent this awesome lantern with the Angel of Light in it.
I love it!!!!!
I am so very blessed to have so many friends and family to lean on.
The doctor gave me the best news possible today!
He said that the nodes that they removed during surgery were cancer free!!!!!!
That means that the cancer did not spread to any other place in my body!
Thank the Lord!!
Now I have to heal up, then chemotherapy.
I will keep you updated.

Girls Shopping Trip
Three of my closest friends and I went on our annual shopping trip a couple of weeks ago.
You’ll never guess what we bought….
BOOTS!!!!!
The ones I bought are on the right with the crosses on them, love, love, love, them!
My feet are the only thing that stay the same size on me year after year.
So, I gave them a special treat.
We always have a great time on our girl trips, just being together.

Mark and Connie’s 30th
Mark and Connie are very good friends of mine, they always have been.
Their kids, Cody and Courtney, threw them an anniversary party for their 30th year of wedded bliss.
Here they are dancing with matching t-shirts on that say,
“30 Years and Counting”.
This bunch of pictures are of their friends and family that came to their surprise party to celebrate with them.

Bathroom Redo
My friend Lora’s son, Garrett, is graduating from high school.
She called and said she needed the gang to get together to help her do a quick redo to her bathroom before the graduation party that she is going to throw at her house.

We were on tile duty.
It turned out really great!
For our first tile tour, I think that it looks great!
It’s not quite done yet, there’s sealer, sealer, sealer, grout, sealer, sealer and sealer.
Lora’s dad made these fishing lures and mounted them.
They are really works of art!!
Here we all are at the end of the day.
I think a couple of us are a little more tired than the rest of us!!
Bahahahahaha!
It was a great day!!!
