Christmas With Family

We go to lots of gatherings of family for Christmas.

The Saturday before Christmas (unless it’s Christmas eve like this year) we get together with the Caldwell bunch.  And I do mean a bunch!   We have it at the school-house, so we can all fit in.

Below are pictures of cousins (Candy, Lori, and Marleen)-an overview of the cafeteria-Kamille and Michael-more cousins getting our meal ready-Santa (Luke) with the little kids handing out presents-the good boys and girls with Santa (Kathy, Tim, Me, Luke, and Cheryl).

We try to have a skit or a little play every year.  Here are some pictures of my talented family.

Then that same evening we had the Goin clan over to our house for another celebration.

Here are pictures of Carma, Lauren, Lisa, Big Ran, George, Rob, and Tyler.

This is Clifford, Luke, George, Madison, Luke’s daughters, and Tyler with his white elephant gift on.

What a great family we have!!

It is great to be able to see them all!!

“The Twins” Birthday

Today is Kayli and Kamille’s birthday.

They are 27.

I have a lot of pictures of them, but this one is my favorite!

You can see their children in these little faces.

My how time flies!!!

This is a recent picture of them.

They both turned out to be beautiful young women, inside and out.

I love you, both.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I have been so blessed having you in my life.

The Garden This Month – December 2011

I found this poem and wanted to share:

The Meaning of the Christmas Wreath, by Holley Gerth

Every Christmas wreath is more than a decoration…it’s a special reminder of Jesus, the reason for our celebration.

The circle of a Christmas wreath is a never ending ring, a reminder of eternal love from our Lord and King.

The Christmas wreath is a sign of welcome, inviting all to enter in….a reminder of Christ’s invitation for all to come to Him.
The middle of a Christmas wreath is a bare and empty space, a reminder of what life would be without Christ’s love and grace.
So each time you see a Christmas wreath

hanging from a door,

may your heart rejoice in the One

that Christmas is truly for!

I have a blinking Christmas wreath heanging on my garden post this month.

Dad’s Birthday

My Dad is one of those people who will never be forgotten.

Today is his birthday.

Of course you always think of someone on their birthday, whether they are right beside you or not.

But with my Dad, there isn’t a day that’s goes by that I don’t think of him and smile.

Here are a few pictures of him, they might even make you smile.
