The Bible

Tonight the History channel is airing the première of The Bible.

I love the Bible.

I learn more and more every time I hear a sermon, read, or listen to a story from the Bible.

The stars in this show are great.
Roma Downey plays Mary, mother of Jesus, PERFECT.

Leap Day and American Idol

Happy Leap Day!

Are you doing anything special for leap day?

This is an extra day that we have to get some things done that we don’t usually have time for.  Good thought.  Let’s just see how that all pans out!! 

Me?  I’m going to work, running errands, all the usual stuff.

I’ll let you know how much of that extra stuff that I get done.

Do you keep up with American Idol?

Every year Madison and I pick the one that we think will win.  We start from the beginning of the show.  This year I picked Phil Phillips.  What an amazing talent!

But I told her she could pick another one. 

I have more pictures of the vacation I was just on, I am having difficulties getting them off the camera and onto the computer!!

Crate & Barrel have a lot of great furniture and accessories.

I can’t wait to see what they used for these houses!!

Here are a couple of rugs that I have ordered from them .

I have used them in lots of different places in my home.

Black and white is one of my favorite combos now.

I hope to see a rug or two like this in the new homes in Joplin.

The Pioneer Woman on Food Network

I hate to mention this because every time I say how much I like a tv show it gets canceled.

The Pioneer Woman is on the Food Network channel. 

 She had about 6 shows in the fall and they were all great.

  I just found out that she has a Christmas special airing this Saturday at 11:00 am. 

 She also has more shows airing in January.

  I love her recipes. 

 She has an awesome blog on cooking, decorating, homeschooling, and just day-to-day stuff.
