Boston Butt Pork Roast

This is so easy and delicious!

This is the time of year for comfort food.

Here is one of my favorites.

Marinated Boston Butt Pork Roast

The marinade part:

1 C brown sugar

1 T. Celery Salt

1 T. Garlic Salt

1 T. Dried Mustard

1 T. Ground Ginger

1 T. Black Pepper

1 T. Rosemary

1 1/2 tsp. Liquid Smoke

1/4 cup Worcestershire

3/4 cup Cider Vinegar

1/2 cup Soy Sauce

1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
Whisk all together.

Put roast in a ziplock bag.  Top with the marinade.  Put bag inside a cake pan in case it leaks.  Put in fridge overnight.  The next morning, put the roast in the crock pot, pour the marinade over the top, add minced garlic, and a roughly chopped onion.  Turn the crock pot on low for 8 hours.  I have also tried this in the oven at 295 degrees.  It works great both ways.

It just falls apart!

I serve it over mashed potatoes.

It would also be good with noodles or as a sandwich.  The possibilities are endless.
