Today I am cooking for the Thanksgiving dinner that I have at my house on Saturday.
So far the cranberry sauce is cooling and I am starting on the cornbread dressing.
I found a couple of pictures of Thanksgiving past to share with you.
This is from left to right, Kamille, my brother Kevin’s friend, Kevin, Dad, and Kayli.
The kiddy table.
From left to right – Madison, Nic, and Mom.
Well, back to work!
We all miss you Dad.
It’s Veterans Day!
This is a picture of my Dad in his navy gear.
My husband is in the U. S. Army Reserve. He has been enlisted
for 30 years. I am very proud of him!
This is a picture of my husband with the
Commanding General of the U. S. Army Reserve. My husband is on the right. From
November 2007 to November 2008, he was stationed in Iraq, needless to say it was
a very, very long year for both of us.
My Dad was also a Veteran. He was in
the U. S. Navy. He served in Cuba.
There are so many things I could write
about him, but for now I will just say he was an AMAZING AND LOVING MAN.
Thank you to all Veterans!!!
Every year in September my family has a family reunion at the country club.
It works out great for everyone. There is swimming, golfing, sitting around visiting, eating, and an auction.
Uncle Larry is the one in the middle with the red shirt on. He loved to play cards!
Here are a bunch of pictures of some of the family, food, and fun times.
We will all miss you, Uncle Larry!!
I am sure Dad was there to welcome you home.
See you again one day!!
Remembering and honoring those who have lost their lives serving our great country.
And giving thanks to those who are still defending all of us.
In this picture I am sending my husband back to Iraq for 4 more months of protecting us. We are at the airport in Kansas City. HARD DAY!!
And of course, my other hero, my dad in his navy hat.
Very Proud Of Both Of Them!!!
Happy Memorial Day!!
