Cheesey Rotel Dip

This is something that I made for my dad when I lived at home.

Granted it has been a few years…………but I still make it sometimes.

Here is the recipe

1lb ground beef

1 can of Rotel tomatoes with green chiles

1T Worcestershire sauce

1t garlic powder

1lb velveeta

1 small can of sliced mushrooms

Brown the hamburger in a frying pan.  Add the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, Velveeta, Rotel tomatoes and the mushrooms.  Cook until the cheese melts.  Serve with tortilla chips.

This recipe also works well in a crockpot.  Just brown the hamburger and throw everything else in and let it cook on low.

My mom puts sliced black olives in when she makes it.

It’s good that way, too.

Here’s a picture of him diving into a bowl of it!!

Miss you Dad!!

You notice how he guarded his bowl with his other arm.

If you lifted a chip to dig into his bowl of dip, he would say, “you ‘ll bring back a bloody stump”!!

We had so many good times……you’ll never be forgotten!!!!!!!!!

More later……………..Sally
